It’s November 10, 1775. A gentlemen by the name of Capt. Samuel Nicholas forms the world deadliest fighting force in a bar in Philadelphia. That bar is called Tun Tavern, and that fighting force is the United Stated Marine Corps. 245 years later former and current Marines still get together on this day to celebrate the birth of their beloved Corps. To celebrate the birthday Ricky sits down with the great minds behind the AVA Group, A veterans assistance organization specializing in helping veterans and their families transition from military life to civilian life (www.theavagroup.org). They talk about the tough, but rewarding times in service and the importance of a family support system at home.

To all the veterans out there, Thank you for your service.

To Ryan, Damian, and every former and current Marine celebrating tonight: Thank you for your service, happy birthday, and stay safe.

To Erin - Thank you for your unwavering support to the veteran community. You are truly appreciated!
